We have merged this PR for this topic: #8229 However, we gonna do more work on subscription in 16 and will rethink the whole thing. 8229 had less impact and thats why we went with it for now. Thanks in any case for raising this PR |

@michaelstaib Our use case was more for persisted queries and their redis entries. Im not sure how subscriptions and channels overlaps there. |
